THE NEXT Mum2mum Market in Liphook will be held at the Millennium Centre from 10am to noon on Sunday, May 21.

Mum2mum Market Liphook is a nearly-new sale providing an opportunity for parents to make money selling on their outgrown baby clothes and equipment to other families.

With more than 100 mums, dads, mums-to-be and grandparents through the door at each event, it has become a good place for them to grab a few bargains for their growing children.

Mums and sisters Hannah Hatch and Jessica Laker set up Mum2mum Market in Liphook last June and are planning to expand out to Bordon later in the year.

“Mum2mum Market is a wonderful place to buy and sell in a safe and happy environment,” said Hannah.

“We have had a wonderful time with our events in Liphook last year and will be branching out to Bordon later this year.

“We hope to see you at our May event, make sure you get there early as the queue begins before 10am.”

With up to 20 mums selling at every Mum2mum Market there is a big choice of baby and children’s items for sale up to the age of six years old, and everything offered for sale must be in excellent condition. Goods for sale range from larger items such as designer prams, cots, buggies, high chairs and bikes to games, toys, books, baby equipment and clothes.

Buyers can make big savings at their Mum2mum Market, with up to 90 per cent off the high street price.

Large items like designer prams and large toys sell for about one third of the retail price, whereas baby and children’s clothes start at just 50 pence. The sellers keep 100 per cent of their takings on the day, and novice sellers are also coached prior to the event with sellers’ tips and pricing guides to maximise their sales on the day.

Admission is £2 on the door. Children get free entry.
