PUPILS, staff and helpers at Langrish Primary School dressed up in patriotic red, white and blue colours to celebrate the Queen’s 90th birthday.

Throughout the day of festivities on Friday, learning was focused around Her Majesty.

The National Anthem was sung in assembly and to launch a special street party, bunting, celebrating all things British from across the last 90 years, was made.

Debates over which decade would have been the most exciting to have been monarch were had, birthday cards designed and national celebrations watched on television.

A school spokesman said: “We had a great day celebrating the Queen’s birthday, including games of ’Pin the Tail on the Corgi.’ It was a great day, thanks to everyone’s enthusiasm and energy in making it such a success.”
