PETERSFIELD Photographic Society members received well deserved recognition for their entries in the Southern Counties Photographic Federation annual exhibition.

From the six prints entered into the Best Monochrome Print category, two Petersfield members came away with awards.

Paul Grove won the Federation Trophy, and Vernon Nash was awarded a highly commended prize.

Society chairman Peter Timney said: “We’re thrilled that Paul Grove has taken first place in the mono print section of this year’s exhibition, and that Vernon Nash was highly commended.

“Exceptional work and well done.” The awards were made by Southern Counties Photographic Federation (SCPF) president Tony Oliver at the 46th annual exhibition, which was held at Salisbury Library.

The exhibition saw entries from 34 SCPF clubs, which can be viewed in the library until January 30.

Petersfield Photographic Society meets every other Wednesday evening from September to May, 7.30- 10pm at Petersfield Community Centre in Love Lane.
