YOU can’t put a figure on the price of someone’s life.

So number crunchers at an East Hampshire accountancy firm were happy to fork out on some lifesaving kit for their Petersfield branch.

A defibrillator was recently installed at the Sheen Strickland branch on Station Road for use in the event of a cardiac emergency.

The device will go on the national database and will be available for public use – heaven forbid – during the office opening hours.

“We thought it would be something good to get because it’s a very useful thing to have in case of an emergency,” said the Sheen Strickland employee, Debbie Batley.

A further device has also been installed at the firm’s Alton branch.
