VISITOR numbers at an annual antiques fair in Petersfield Festival Hall were the highest in recent years, said organiser Caroline Penman.
Held for three days from Friday, February 2, the Penmans Antiques Fair attracted more than 3,000 visitors.
Caroline added: “It was the best turnout for five or six years, which was very pleasing. The buyers were very knowledgeable about antiques and keen to buy – antiques are still in fashion.
“That said, buyers were very discerning, favouring less expensive pieces that were real bargains.”
The next fair runs from Friday, August 31, to Sunday, September 2.
