ART work by ladies from Life Church Petersfield will help provide food street children and their families in Colombia.
The small group of artists are hosting an exhibition and sale of their work in the Flora Twort Gallery to raise money for the charity, In Ministry to Children.
Established in 1997, the charity based in Station Road in Petersfield provides relief and support for children in Colombia who are at risk through poverty, neglect, abuse or violence, and helps feed thousands of homeless children.
Exhibition and sale organiser Belinda Shaw said: “The charity is very close to our hearts, and the group has worked with a variety of materials including glass, clay, coloured fleece and decorative card to put on a colourful exhibition.
“Their creative skills will benefit people in a part of the world thousands of miles away.”
One topical exhibit helping the cause, will be a display of ceramic Remembrance Day poppies.
The sale and exhibition runs from Tuesday, November 15, to Saturday November 19. Entry to the gallery in Church Walk is £2, and it is open from `10am to 4pm.
