A CHILDREN’S competition to celebrate World Book Day has been launched in Petersfield.

One Tree Books in Lavant Street in Petersfield is asking youngsters to take part in a colouring contest.

They can choose a bookmark from two designs, then add it to the window display at One Tree Books.

A surprise children’s illustrator, to be announced in early April in the Post, will then pick a winner.

The creator of the top bookmark will win goodies inspired by Roald Dahl classic Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.

The competition runs until Thursday, March 24.

All book marks, available from the shop, need to be coloured in and returned to One Tree Books no later than March 24.
