FOUR cribbage players from Petersfield have raised £275 and presented it to the Dementia Friendly Petersfield charity.

During the past 18 months, Jamie Munro, Terry French, Barry Povey and Roy Clayton have been raising cash for worthwhile causes by playing the card game Cribbage in the Folly Wine Bar in College Street.

Last year they raised £275 for Great Ormond Street Hospital and went to London to present it, and this year the cash has gone to Dementia Friendly Petersfield.

Co-ordinator and trainer for Dementia Friendly Petersfield Jeff Williams said: “A big thank-you to the four gentlemen involved for supporting Dementia Friendly Petersfield and donating this fantastic sum. This funding will make a big difference to the support we offer to people living with dementia and their families.”
