IT MAY not have won an Oscar, but another film about the devastating effects of motor neurone disease (MND) is a labour of love triumph for a Petersfield family.

While Stephen Hawking biopic The Theory of Everything is winning all the awards, a heartfelt tribute from a film-making son to his father is about to hit the small screen.

And 24-year-old Fraser Isaac is happy with the timing of the two as he is on a mission to raise awareness of the terrible condition that will claim the life of his dad Steve, of Heath Road.

"People will see the Stephen Hawking film, which we went to see as a family and thought was great, and, if they like the story, they may want to see something more real, less Hollywood," said Fraser....
