A group that’s outstanding in its field has handed over a pile of cash after making a rotten trip around East Hampshire.
Raising money for charity can be a dirty business – just ask the Petersfield Young Farmers.
They spent many evenings shovelling muck into bags early this spring for their annual ‘Dung Run’ around Petersfield, Liss and Clanfield.
And they turned that muck into brass, as the bags they delivered to households either side of Butser in March raised £1,710 for the Hampshire & IoW Air Ambulance.

The PYF have made an appeal of their own as they’re looking to swell their numbers. Would-be members don’t have to be farmers, just have an interest in the countryside and the outdoors.
