Petersfield friends to yomp the South downs for charity

A GROUP of friends from Stroud near Petersfield will undertaking a gruelling 167km walk along the South Downs to raise money for a local charity.

The ‘Wallerbies’ as they call themselves, will be ‘yomping’ the distance, almost 100 miles, over the Spring Bank Holiday weekend (28/29 May) for the Petersfield charity, The Rosemary Foundation, whose nurses supply palliative care in the home.
