THE DEMENTIA Friendly Petersfield initiative continues to grow, with two more town groups signed up to the popular scheme.
Southdowns Care, based at Reservoir Lane, and the Petersfield Women’s Institute (WI) have both joined the initiative, which is backed by the Petersfield Post and East Hampshire’s MP?Damian Hinds.
The scheme aims to make Petersfield a more friendly place for people living with dementia to visit.
By giving training to staff and members of companies and groups which sign up, they will learn new skills to improve people with dementia’s experiences when they visit facilities in Petersfield.
