TREE AND shrub clearance on Petersfield Heath has angered environmentalists and visitors alike.
The work was arranged by Petersfield Town Council (PTC).
It starts at the Sussex Road car park and follows the pond bank toward Heath Road.
Campaigners say it has destroyed vital wildlife habitats and has left the area 'unrecognisable.' Other areas have also been cleared....
