DIAMONDS are forever for a young Petersfield jeweller.
Rachel Smith is pinning her hopes on a glittering career after being selected for a prestigious scholarship.
The 20-year-old, of Glynn Boyden Jewellery in the High Street, is one of only 20 candidates worldwide taken on by the Gemological Institute of America each year.
She will now complete a year-long distance learning course with the institute, recognised globally as the top certifier of diamonds.
