Keeping Hampshire and Surrey's roads moving over ChristmasThe talk by Doctor Clifford Williams, Turnabout: The Story of Policing of Gay/Bisexual Men in England and Wales from 1950 to 2010, includes the memoirs and testimonies of vice squad officers and officers who identify as gay or bisexual.
Library events officer Helen Beevers said: “His presentation provides a fascinating insight.”
The talk is just one event on the programme during the Hampshire Pride Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LBGT) History Month celebration, which runs throughout February.
During the month here will be exhibitions, book displays, talks and film screenings across the county to show support for the LBGT community, and encourage awareness and discussion.
