TWO NIGHTS of family fun are promised at Petersfield’s Museums at Night events this weekend (October 28 and 29).

As part of the annual after-hours festival of arts, culture and heritage, when hundreds of venues around the country open for special events, Petersfield Museum will be giving people a peek behind the scenes at night time.

On Friday and saturday, there will be a candlelit hard hat tour of Petersfield Police Station in St Peters Road, recently bought by the museum.

Visitors will be able to look at the Victorian features, learn about the history of the station and the Old Courthouse.

Drinks will then be served in a real Victorian police cell.

Booking is essential. Tickets are £5 for adults, £2 for children. A glass of wine or soft drink is included.
