THROWING yourself out of a plane is something that would terrify most people.
But for Naseem Ahmed, it will be just part of the job he's longed for since school.
The 18-year-old, from Borough Grove, Petersfield, decided he should stop "messing about" in Year 10 at school and realise his dream of becoming a paratrooper.
He has won a Parachute Regiment award – the Marsh Trophy – after finishing his Combat Infantryman's Course at the Infantry Training Centre in Catterick, North Yorkshire. The trophy is awarded to the recruit who has given the most effort and shown the most improvement on the course.
