MORE than 100 residents of Madeline Road in Petersfield came together to commemorate the life of murdered MP Jo Cox.
A street party was enjoyed as part of The Great Get Together initiative set up in the memory of Jo Cox on the anniversary of her death.
East Hampshire MP Damian Hinds and his family joined residents to help take forward her passionate belief that “we have more in common than that which divides us”.
The party for residents of the street and their friends and family were lucky with the weather for their event, and celebrated in glorious sunshine.
This was one of hundreds of The Great Get Together parties held around the country, supported by Jo’s husband Brendan Cox.
