RAMSHILL Residents Associations’ spring clean of the Barentin Way estate saw residents and Petersfield town councillors picking up rubbish.
Association chairman John Lees said: “This was our second spring clean up day, and a large number of residents joined in, as did Petersfield mayor James Deane, and town councillor Verlaine Morgan; our thanks to everyone who turned out on what was a wet Sunday morning.
“We collected the usual litter including drink cans, fast food wrappers and sweet papers, and we plan to make this a regular event in support of the Keep Briton Tidy group who work so hard to encourage communities to clean up the litter in their communities.”
