A VISIT to the Oaks Playscheme at Froxfield by Petersfield Round Table chairman Paul Baker and some Round Table colleagues saw the visitors present the scheme with a cheque for £1,500.
The play scheme is a charity for children aged three to 11 years old who have disabilities and it has been providing a safe, fun and caring place for youngsters to enjoy activities and therapy for 20 years.
Spokesman for the playscheme Angharad Snow said: “The charity relies on the support of local groups and businesses to fund the activities that provide the wonderful experiences for the children. These include visits from our dedicated music therapist and theatre groups, trips to local farms, and donkey rides. Without the generosity of local groups like Petersfield Round Table, these would not be possible. So on behalf of the children and staff, I would like to say big thank you.”
