GONGS have been handed out by The Petersfield Society, which helps preserve the heritage of the town.

The President’s Owl Award, presented annually to projects and people making a significant contribution to the design and life of Petersfield and surrounding villages, was given to the new Art and Design Building at Bedales School. This was presented by Tony Struthers, for the society, to Nick Andrews, the site construction manager.

Commendations were also presented for the 2017 Petersfield Conservation Area Character Appraisal and Management Plan, commissioned by the South Downs National Park Authority, and for the refurbishment of 22 The Spain by Paul and?Sarah Savage.
