A group which aims to put the brakes on speeding drivers has received a recruitment boost thanks to our “Get on with it” campaign launch.

Five people who joined our March 7 photocall next to the ‘deadly Durford Road crossroads’ on Pulens Lane also showed an interest in joining Speedwatch.

By a happy coincidence the group were due to carry out checks on the road the same morning so campaigner Julie Butler used the event to drum up support.
