A TEENAGE fundraiser from Petersfield who had his head shaved for charity in aid of Cancer Research raised an “amazing” £217, thanks to generous donations.
East Hampshire District Council customer service officer Jake Tribe, 18 (pictured above), had the shave at Hairdressing for Men in Chapel Street, in the hopes that customers, friends, family, work colleagues and people passing by, would contribute to his collection bucket. The former student at The Petersfield School said: “I am proud to say, with the support of Hairdressing for Men, £217.50 was raised.
“I would like to thank everyone who came down and contributed toward this amazing outcome, but I am feeling very chilly.”
