LAVANT Street traders are urging the county council to get on with £200,000 worth of work aimed at improving their town centre road.
The proposed scheme is aimed at attracting more shoppers to the street and making it harder for motorists to park its entire length.
But from the outset the project has suffered setbacks; it has been hard for Hampshire County Council and Network Rail to agree what work should be done on the station forecourt, then there was local uncertainty over the expiry date for the grant funding for the job....
