THE?MOTHER of a 24-year-old Petersfield hairdresser killed in a car crash has welcomed the inquest verdict of accidental death.

Although Rachel Lee's family will never discover why she swerved in front of a lorry, dying instantly in the collision last October, knowing why would not bring their daughter back.

Helen Webster, of Bramble Road, Petersfield, has also written to the driver of the articulated HGV lorry, found not to be at fault, expressing sympathy for his distress.

He replied that this had really helped him in the aftermath of the tragedy.

"That made it easier seeing him on the day of the inquest," said Helen....
