Petersfield Women's Institute learns more about domestic abuse

MEMBERS of the Petersfield Women’s Institute had a special guest to speak to them about domestic abuse.

Yvonne Carter from the Domestic Abuse Refuges spoke to members about the emotive problem.

She gave a brief outline of the history of the refuges in the Hampshire area and talked about how the need for these establishments has grown over the years.
