‘TIS THE season to make Petersfield Youth Theatre an integral part of your festivities and join them for A Christmas Carol – The Musical this December, a musical based on the favourite timeless story by Charles Dickens.

This spectacular musical extravaganza, created by Broadway heavy hitters Alan Menken and Lynn Ahrens, ran for ten years at New York’s Madison Square Garden.

While Dickens’s story is relatively intimate in its scope, A Christmas Carol – The Musical is anything but, and PYT are embracing its scale with more than 90 cast members and a live band.

PYT’s production is guaranteed to be mounted with both energy and heart, offering the perfect Christmas treat for all the family.

The production follows the redemptive story of Ebenezer Scrooge, a greedy and stingy businessman who has no place in his life for kindness, compassion, charity, or benevolence.

The production will run from Tuesday December 19 to Saturday December 23 at The Festival Hall in Petersfield. Evening performances start at 7pm Tuesday-Friday, with 2.30pm matinee performances on Friday and Saturday and a morning performance at 11am on the Saturday.
