WE’VE only just made it through January but photographers have been told to keep an eye on 2020 by staff at the Petersfield Town Visitor Centre (TVC).
The information centre for visitors in Petersfield Library in The Square has launched a photographic competition with the aim of creating a 2020 Petersfield calendar.
The competition will be open to all ages.
Prizes donated by local firms will be awarded to people whose pictures are selected for the calendar.
TVC manager Graham Haynes (pictured) said: “Having sold a number of calendars previously we’ve had the idea to launch a photo competition to capture the events of Petersfield in recent years for a 2020 calendar.
“The competition will run until Friday, May 24, so we’re hoping people may have images saved from recent years they can enter.
“Ideally, we’re looking for 13 images of events of Petersfield spread through a year.
“These could include the panto in the Festival Hall, the town centre festivals, Secrets of The Heath in the summer, Remembrance Sunday in November, fireworks, the Christmas lights switch-on, and any other events in the town they would like to enter.”
Photos must be 300 dpi, between 1MB and 10MB in size, and should be accompanied with a brief description, location and contact details.
Entries should be submitted by email to [email protected]
