THE FRIENDS of Petersfield Hospital are to benefit from a recital by renowned pianist Richard Saxel at Churcher’s College.

The concert, on Saturday, November 12, at 7.30pm, will feature works by Scarlatti, Beethoven, Debussy, Chopin and Poulenc.

Former Churcher’s pupil Richard has established a reputation has one of the most versatile concert pianists of his generation, and has partnerships with some of the most exciting musicians in the country.

He has won several major awards, and has given recitals at most of the leading venues in the UK.

He is currently head of performance at Cranleigh School in Surrey.

“I am delighted to be back in Petersfield, where my family have lived for the last 40 years, and delighted to be supporting the hospital.”

Friends of Petersfield Hospital is a voluntary organisation dedicated to the support of the hospital in Swan Street, its staff and patients.
