SOUTH Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) officers have recommended that proposals for 200 new homes in Petersfield are approved tomorrow (May 12).
The principle of providing 200 new homes, including 80 affordable ones, on fields at Causeway Farm was accepted by the committee on April 14, but a decision was deferred to allow further clarification to be provided in respect of design and landscaping matters.
Since then, further work has been undertaken by developers David Wilson Homes and Bovis Homes, working with planning officers, to ensure that the highest quality scheme is delivered for Petersfield. The planning application now provides significant detail in respect of the design and landscaping.
