THE BRAMSHOTT and Liphook Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) design forum event concluded with a workshop at the Liphook Millennium Centre for a third day.

The NDP steering group extended a huge thank you to all the participants for day three of the design forum.

Once again, like the previous two-day event in November, there was enormous interest and support from the community with more than 70 people participating, including representatives from the South Downs National Park Authority and East Hampshire District Council.

Continuing the theme of the previous two-day workshop, there was plenty of healthy debate and a robust exchange of views – a critical part of the creation of a neighbourhood plan.

The day began with presentations of the further research which had been undertaken since the earlier workshops, followed by position statements from both planning authorities.

This led to discussions on the interesting and unique challenges that the NDP faces.

The afternoon session moved on to an exploration of wider topic areas, which provided further insight into the key issues and opportunities for the parish moving forward.

The NDP steering group are currently processing all the information gathered across the full three days and in the new year will present the initial findings from the design forum.

In addition, the intention is to also provide a schedule of forthcoming public engagement events.
