McCarthy Stone and Ashill Land are holding a virtual exhibition to display plans to replace an iconic building in Liphook with retirement living accommodation.

Ashill bought the former Allianz offices in Ajax House (pictured above), off Haslemere Road, last year, and last summer revealed plans for a development of up to 30 homes.

Now Ashill, with developers McCarthy Stone, are to bring forward proposals for specialist retirement accommodation of one- and two-bedroom apartments in a single building.

The proposals also include indoor communal facilities, on-site car parking as well as extensive landscaping of the site.

The consultation, hosted via post and online, will provide an opportunity to view and comment on the proposals for the site, ahead of a planning application being submitted.

The plans will be available to view and for comment until April 6 via the website at www.mccarthystoneconsultation.co.uk/liphook

Residents who wish to engage in the consultation but can’t access the internet can contact the project team on 0800 2987040, who will arrange for a hard copy to be sent.
