PLANS for 11 homes in Sheet have been agreed subject to a legal agreement being signed ensuring planning consent conditions are met.

The South Downs National Park Authority’s planning committee heard on Thursday, February 11, that the homes would be on land behind School Lane and between Sheet Primary School and Farnham Road.

Members also heard that included in the proposal were four affordable homes, and that a field used by pupils from the school should be transferred to the ownership of the local education authority.

A right of way for an emergency access to the school from Farnham Road, was also proposed, and School Lane residents would get parking spaces behind their houses, so taking their cars off School Lane.

This, members heard, would help ease car congestion on School Lane, especially when parents were delivering and collecting their children from school during term time.
