THE PETERSFIELD Neighbourhood Plan has been a key consideration in planners recommending that permission should be given for a 200 home estate in the town.
South Downs National Park Authority planners Richard Ferguson told a meeting that will decide if the plans to build on land at Causeway Farm should be approved that the neighbourhood plan was now ’policy.’
He said: "The Petersfield Neighbourhood Plan says the land at Causeway farm is suitable for 200 homes. The PNP is now planning policy and has been a key consideration for planners looking at this proposal."
