PLANS to build seven houses and convert old buildings into offices on land in Petersfield which was previously home to small businesses are being looked at by planners.

Paul Masser, of The Spain in Petersfield, has submitted the proposal to build on Clarendon Yard, formerly Holders Yard, at the junction of College Street and Station Road, to South Downs National Park Authority (SDNPA) planners.

At present, the land has about 30 parking spaces, but if the plan to clear the site and build seven houses and the offices goes ahead, this will be reduced to 19 spaces.
