YOUNGSTERS will have the chance to make their very own Ewoks, Yodas, BB8s and R2-D2s when the Rural Areas Play Project (RAPP) comes to a galaxy not so far away.
The RAPP vans will be visiting towns and villages across East Hampshire, including Medstead, Liss, Whitehill and Bordon, Horndean and Petersfield.
Themed arts and crafts sessions will be held throughout the week – including Star Wars, Winter Olympics, puppets, Valentine’s Day, creepy crawlies and Chinese New Year.
There will also be a fun-filled, inter-active magic show from Magic Charlie at Whitehill Village Hall next Wednesday and the chance to meet some real-life creepy crawlies when Zoo Lab brings them to Jubilee Hall in Horndean on February 15.
Get Activ8d, which provides sporting activities to children aged seven to 14, is also back during theholdiay Alton, Whitehill and Bordon and Petersfield.
The week will include street dance, cheerleading, hula hooping, tennis and trampolining sessions.
Portfolio holder for customer relations Cllr Julie Butler said: “The aim of both RAPP and Get Activ8d is to help the parents by bringing the fun out to the children – offering a wide range of fun activities and sports in a wide range of areas.”
