POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a mini digger was stolen from outside a house in Petersfield that was having building work done on it.
It was stolen from the garden of a house in Pulens Lane over Wednesday, January 18, said East Hampshire Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Tobey Mason.
He added: “Unknown person/s have taken a JCB Mini Digger from a property that is having work done to it.
“If you have seen anything unusual in the area or have any information about this incident please ring 101 quoting the following reference number 44170022756.
“Please ensure that your property is kept locked and secure at all times.
“If you are away from your property for a long period it is a good idea to get a neighbour to keep an eye on your property until your return.”
