POLICE are appealing for information and witnesses after cars were broken into in Buriton.
Police say three cars in Kiln Lane were broken into on Monday, January 23, between 10.30am and 12.30pm, and a fourth car was broken in to on the same day in a rural car park.
Petersfield Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) Almera Toogood said: “The three vehicles were left secure whilst the owners went for a walk, and two had their rear window smashed and one was entered and a bag was stolen from the boot area.
“The third vehicle then had its door lock tampered with, and a fourth vehicle in a rural car park also had its rear window smashed but no entry was gained.
“f you have any information relating to any of these incidents or see or hear anything suspicious please contact the police on 10.”
