Missing Winchester woman Trinity Robin has been found in the Petersfield area.

Police have thanked local residents for their help in the six-week search for the missing woman.

A spokesman said: “We are pleased to report she was located in the Petersfield area on Monday, June 22.

“We’d like to thank you for your help in sharing our appeals, and for the assistance of the local community – we really do appreciate it.”

The 45-year-old was reported missing on Monday, May 18, and the last sighting of her was in the Exton area at around 11pm that day.

After a public appeal for help locating the missing woman, police reported she was seen at around 9pm on Friday, May 29 near Ramsdean Lane.

A second sighting at 6.50am on Saturday, May 30, placed her in the Butser Hill car park.

On both occasions, members of the public reported seeing a woman who matched Trinity’s description.

On both occasions, the woman was not wearing footwear and walked off when approached.
