Police witness appeal after motorcyclist seriously injured in crash near Selborne

POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a car and a motorcycle crashed at Empshott, between Selborne and Greatham.

A VW Polo car and motorbike were travelling in the same direction and collided as they overtook some other vehicles on the B3006 at around 7am on Tuesday, September 26.

The 31–year-old man from Waterlooville who was riding a yellow Suzuki motorcycle suffered serious injuries and was taken to Southampton General Hospital for treatment.

The 25-year-old male driver of the Polo, also from Waterlooville, was unhurt.

Witnesses are asked to call PC Sarah McEwen in the Havant Roads Policing Unit on 101.
