POLICE are appealing for witnesses after custom made oak gates worth £30,000 were stolen from a house in Liss.

They were taken from a house in Reeds Lane off Rake Road in the early hours of Friday, February 10, said East Hampshire Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) John Payne.

He added: “They are worth around £30,000 and very distinctive.”

Residents who have seen suspicious behaviour around the time of theft, or have any information, are asked to call PCSO John Payne on 101 or CrimeStoppers, anonymously, on 0800-555111 quoting reference number - 44170052782.
