A SELF taught Polish chef will be offering Petersfield book shop visitors ‘tasters’ based on recipes from her first cook book.
Agata Andryszczak (27) came to the UK in 2009, and has lived in Lavant Street since 2016, commuting up to London where she works for a company specialising in international finance.
Agata, from Warsaw, said: “I am lactose intolerant, and also wanted to lose some weight so I started cooking healthy meals, and really enjoyed it.
“But then it became a bit of an obsession, I was repeating recipes until I got them exactly right and my book, Spoons of Taste, is the result.”
Her book, which includes Agata’s take on two traditional Polish recipes, is already selling well on Amazon, and on Saturday (April 28) from 10.30am to 12.30pm, she will be holding a book signing at One Tree Books in Lavant Street.
She said: “People will be able to try my dairy free and meat free treats, I am on a mission to show that dairy-free, nutritious food is not about deprivation.
“Spoons of Taste is the perfect book for breakfast lovers who are passionate about great tasting food and healthy living.
“It is suitable for everyone, whether you are a beginner or an experienced cook, and is packed with delicious recipes for every type of morning - from quick, on-the-go breakfasts to lazy, relaxed brunches.”
The paperback version of Agata’s book Spoons of Taste is £10.99 and will available from One Tree Books from Saturday. The ebook is £3.99 and is available now along with the paperback from Amazon at: www.amazon.co.uk
