East Hampshire MP Damian Hinds welcomes wages increase

THE NEW National Living Wage has been welcomed by East Hampshire MP Damian Hinds as a boost to the earnings of the lowest paid in his constituency.

Introduced on April 1, this legally entitles workers aged 25 and over to at least £7.20 an hour. Hinds said:“This is part of the government’s drive towards a higher wage, lower tax, lower welfare economy.”
