A RETIRED rear admiral from West Meon has lent his voice to the new Veterans for Britain, a supporter group for the Vote Leave campaign in the European Union (EU) debate, launched by Defence Minister Julian Brazier.
Conrad Jenkin joins more than 300 ex-Service personnel in the group which believes our national security is at risk if we remain in the EU.
Drawing on his experience in the Navy over 42 years, he said:?“Virtually every single thing which the EU?does in the security and defence fields, from trying to make Britain give up its seat on the Security Council, to interfering in our Intelligence organisation, to trying to construct a European army, makes this country less secure, not more so.”
