NORMALLY swimming pools come with a long list of don’ts – but when drainage and rebuilding is about to follow, anything goes.

So Petersfield Open Air Swimming Pool opened its doors to dogs on September 29 to raise £1,000 towards major structural work on the main pool.

Spokesperson Deborah Mitchell said: “The response was amazing and we saw many dogs and their owners enjoying a fun and happy swim together.

“It was such an uplifting event and the dogs were super well behaved with no frizzly moments at all.”
