A £350,000 fund to support communities affected by coronavirus launched by Scottish and Southern Electricity Networks (SSEN) Resilient Communities Fund is open for applications.

It will offer grants of up to £3,000 for projects that support vulnerable people, such as those self-isolating or social shielding, the elderly, or those with underlying health conditions.

Examples of projects include a social delivery service, online advice centres or a befriending scheme.

Community councils, parish councils and town councils, like Petersfield Town Council, in SSEN’s network area in central southern England are invited to apply. For more information, or to apply, visit the webpage at ssen.co.uk/resiliencefund
