A BIG slice of kindness was served up by children and parents of Privett Nursery School when they held a tea party for Macmillan.
It was all smiles as they sat down for fairy cakes, flapjacks, biscuits and sponges, at the event which had the theme ‘change lives with every slice’, in aid of the cancer care charity.
The slogan was even written in icing sugar on one cake, and mum Lisa Seal baked a large chocolate cake to sell to the highest bidder.
Nursery leader Kate Pritchard was delighted with the get together, part of the nationwide Macmillan Cancer Support World’s Biggest Coffee Morning campaign.
She said: “Privett’s target was to raise £100 for the charity, and the children have really enjoyed inviting their parents to share afternoon tea and cake together.”
