PLANS by Les and Connie Milton for a hay storage barn on land South of School Lane in Sheet have been turned down by the South Downs National Park Authority. It was thought the barn could be built under ‘permitted development’ guidelines, but planners disagreed. A national park spokesman said: “It is not classed as ’permitted development’ and requires full planning permission.”
