THE PUMPKIN patch half term Hallowe’en fun and frolics has really taken off, says organiser Sophie Davey.
Thanks to fine weather, a great selection of pumpkins, and lots of related activities, staff have been run off their feet by youngsters and their parents, out to enjoy spooky fun near Rogate during the half term break.
Sophie said: “It’s mad here today.”
She added it had been a very busy weekend, and the week had started busy as well.
As well as pumpkin fun at the ‘patch,’ there is a spooky trailer, barrel rides, jungle gym, smash a pumpkin, sling a pumpkin and lots of other fun activities.
Sophie said: “Children are invited to come dressed ready for Hallowe’en as face-painters will be there to finish the spooky look off. Refreshments on offer will include pumpkin soup, pie and cake, as well as lots of other delicious healthy food for all.”
The patch, about quarter a mile East of Rogate on the A272, and with a big banner advertising it, is open daily until Sunday, October 30, from 10am.
Entry and parking are free, and last entry is 4pm.
