THE MILLENNIUM Centre was the venue for the first monthly Liphook Village Market of the year.

The weather outside may have been damp and chilly, but inside the many people who visited experienced the warm and friendly atmosphere of the market as they browsed the stalls and chatted over refreshments.

The market also said farewell to Paul and Shirley Briggs, who will shortly be moving to the Isle of Wight.

Paul and Shirley, who are well known throughout Liphook, have supported both the market and the community in many ways through their constant fundraising.

To mark their farewell Paul and Shirley held a raffle, with all proceeds donated to the Liphook Day Centre.
